"A very picky 18 year old Yorkie, is finally eating and gaining weight. I honestly believe this has and will continue to extend his life. He used to have stomach issues and nothing stayed in him. No longer the case. I wish I found this food years ago. He also had 3 surgeries due to calcium oxolate crystals and this food has also kept him clear of those. Highly recommend trying the brand."
"Absolutely excellent dog food! It's not cheap, but when is cheap ever good? I learned that lesson a long time ago with my Great Dane who passed away a month before he turned eight. He died of cancer because we fed him kibble. I'm grateful I can afford to feed my dogs much better food now that I know how important it is. My dachshund lived to 17 and my new Mini Doxie only weighs 8. 5 pounds so he eats only the best!"
"The salmon fusion arrived ok but it is all in very small pieces. Rarely is a bit bigger size. At the most about 1 inch. I have had the pork before and the pieces were a nice size. Is it supposed to be this small. Really tiny pieces."
"I was originally given 2 sample size bags of this food from Global Pet Foods. They liked the chicken one but went crazy for the salmon. It is what we use as the high value treat for training now. They will obey commands almost 100% of the time for a taste of salmon. I like that it is not rock hard, like a lot of dry foods. It is easy to break up into bite sized pieces, and my old dog that has few teeth can still chew it. Also one of the best factors is that it has good quality ingredients, and it is a fully Canadian company. It is a bit on the expensive side, but my dogs are worth it."

She used to be on a raw diet but the Caribbean Fusion has all the good necessary ingredients to keep her healthy and she loves it. It is easy to handle, has all the benefits of a raw diet. "Our dog decided recently that she prefers the lamb to the salmon, but I put homemade chicken broth on it and then she eats it, but she’ll eat the lamb dry. She’s on medication that has affected her appetite, so not a good test of this food. It’s good quality with good oils, so I like feeding it to her."
"Hello. I bought a 14 oz bag of Smack Caribbean-Salmon from my pet food store. Once my yorkie got used to it, she loved it. I ordered the 5. 5 lb bag directly from Smack and it is not the same. It is very dry and not as vibrant in color. I am thinking it may be old. My yorkie doesn't like it as well. She devoured the first bag from the pet store, but I have to add bits of other things so she will eat from this big bag that I purchased. I wish that I had not purchased such a large bag, but I was encouraged that my dog loved it so much the first time and didn't seem to be allergic to it."
