Feeding Instructions

1. Scoop and serve!
2. If desired, add 1-part warm water; allow to soak.

KITTENS: Follow the adult cat guidelines

ADULT CATS: Feed once daily though your cat may graze as cats have the inherent tendency to do so. Cats tend to drink wherever water is available, so we advise keeping a few drinking stations. If your cat is a picky eater (like most cats!), add a small portion of Very Berry for Cats into your cat's outgoing diet.

NOTES: Adjust feeding according to age, activity, metabolism, and body type. Keep fresh, clean water available at all times.

Our foods are balanced according to traditional raw food diets that use natural and organic whole food ingredients to promote optimal health in cats.  We unapologetically believe that a diet consisting of biologically appropriate, organic whole food ingredients leads to a glowing quality of health that cannot be achieved through the supplementation of synthetic vitamins and mineral

Cats love the taste

"Used to buy the old recipe of Very Berry Cats. Although the recipe change for better nutrition I’m a bit concerned about the pork in the recipe now as it can cause obesity in cats. I guess I’ll just have to feed less of Smack & mix more of other brands to balance."

— Dorothy N. (4/5)

Cat won’t eat it

Great for managing diabetes

"My cat has diabetes and this formula is the best to keep her glucose down. Even better than the brand sold at her vet clinic made for diabetic cats. She doesn’t need insulin when eating Smack!"

— Leanne C. (5/5)

This food healed my cat

"I adopted my cat 5 months ago and have tried many herbal and over the counter products and home remedies to cure his eye discharge, all with no success. By the second day of adding the Very Berry formula to his diet his eye discharge was less and by the third day it was all gone. I feed my cat a raw food diet in four small meals a day. Alongside his raw food I offer just a tablespoon of the very Berry formula and he gobbles it up. My cat spends all but about four or five hours a day outside. I use only natural flea repellents. I run a flea comb through his fur every morning and evening and always find fleas in spite of my attempts to protect him. But now after feeding him this formula I am not finding any more fleas. I am very grateful that my local pet food store began offering this product. And I thank you for this product."

Q&A

Is there ground bone for the calcium?
Hi Rhyan, thank you for your question! As Smack is formulated based off of holistic raw food diets, all of our recipes will contain bones. In addition to calcium, bones will also contain various essential minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium!
Hello! The company used to sell a bigger bag more than the 3.3 pounds, Do you still make the bigger bags? I’m from the United States New Jersey, And my cats love your food.
Hi Luna, our food for cats comes in bags of 210 or 250 grams (about 2-2.5 cups) and larger, 1.5kg bags which have 15 cups worth of food!
Hi. What is the best before date on your cat food, if I was to buy it directly from you, rather than a retailer? I have noticed that in several of the stores, there is quite a short best before date. Thanks
Hi Carol, thank you for your message! We hand-craft food from our facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba, daily. Due to the low moisture level in our recipes, a Best Before date of 18 months after the production date will be stamped on each bag that leaves our facility.
